PureBasic, what else!?
I started writing program in PureBasic mainly because I needed to script daily IT admin tasks. Unlike the good old KSH/Bash on UNIX/Linux system, the Windows environment did not offer a rich command line shell. A lot of scripting solutions required a runtime environment which might not be present on PCs when you need it. What would be if one had a single executable that would run on any PC without any prerequisites? This was when I came across PureBasic. It is different. It is an easy to learn, ultrafast Basic compiler with ... ... to make it short: "If you wanna know more about it just click the link to their homepage."
Meanwhile I have written a bunch of tools for my company and some public ones. Some are command line tools, the others come with a GUI. Some are useful, others just fun or experimental. Most of them have a built-in update function so you never loose track once you have them.
Maybe there is something useful for you. I like to get feedback. If you have the need for a customized little tool feel free to contact me as well.
